Hello there!  I'm Desirée Forgét, the one woman show behind owl & lark. In 2008, with one hundred dollars and a bag of beads, I started making repurposed vintage-inspired jewelry out of my tiny apartment.  Since then, owl & lark has become more sophisticated while maintaining it's irreverence with the addition of precious metals, set stones, and hand fabricated one-of-a-kind pieces. I put great emphasis on quality craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. Every piece is hand crafted by me from start to finish at my home studio nestled in the Crow River Valley. 

     The never ending search for the perfect stone or the weirdest hidden curiosity is what drives my inspiration. I love digging through the dusty corners of antique stores and scouring the world for hidden treasures to give a new life and share with you! With every owl & lark purchase, you can rest assured that you are receiving a high quality wearable work of art that will last for years to come. My main goal in life is to delight and inspire with silly pretty things, while maintaining artistic integrity and an insatiable hunger for knowledge.
